I've been running a bootstrap node on my VPS for a couple of years now. However, recently I noticed it was offline, which was strange. I restarted it, and it core dumped after a few hours. I pulled the latest git commits, did a fresh build, and I'm starting to see some of the same errors I saw before the core dump. Sep 10 19:34:23 infrared tox-bootstrapd[1373862]: (tox.core) decrypted length 15 does not match expected length 49 Sep 10 19:46:17 infrared tox-bootstrapd[1373862]: (tox.core) decrypted length 15 does not match expected length 49 Sep 10 19:49:33 infrared tox-bootstrapd[1373862]: (tox.core) incoming connection 0 would overwrite existing Sep 10 19:52:08 infrared tox-bootstrapd[1373862]: (tox.core) incoming connection 61 would overwrite existing Sep 10 19:52:14 infrared tox-bootstrapd[1373862]: (tox.core) incoming connection 62 would overwrite existing Sep 10 19:52:42 infrared tox-bootstrapd[1373862]: (tox.core) decrypted length 15 does not match expected length 289 Eventually, after some number of these errors (anywhere from like 20-50) we get a core dump like this: Sep 09 16:35:04 infrared systemd[1]: tox-bootstrapd.service: Main process exited, code=dumped, status=11/SEGV Wondering if anyone else is seeing this in journalctl or whichever logs you use. -- A.M.
