Hi support,

Have just installed the latest version of uTox, but cannot size it DOWN to fit my screen; it is, probably, six to eight times the size of my screen. I have tried to drag the sides, but to no avail. I can minimize it to the taskbar, or restore it to its oversized size. Any suggestions????

In settings there is a DPI option in the user interface tab, lower this
value.
The minimum sizes of the window changes with this setting when I test in
Windows 7 and uTox 0.6.1 // Aron

I want to design my own video chat software, the main idea is to detect human face and transform it to be a feature sequence,
then only send the key sequence to another people. That human will reconstruct the face (2D or 3D) and display it.
 
So, the communication efffort will be very small. I want to learn how to write a video chat software between two 
computers via internet. I am an algorithm engineer who have computer vision knowleages and good C++/CUDA skill,
but I don't know internet knowleage. So I want to learn from yours project.
 
Could you suggest one book to me if I want to know how to modify your project and know how it works.

You will find the links for Mac binaries of the two major clients,
uTox and qTox, here:

As far as I know, they both require OS X 10.7 and up.

1. OS and version of your OS... is it Windows? Is it GNU/Linux?
2. What is the Tox client you are using including the Version number...

There is Tox protocol spec[1] - it aims to provide enough info for one
to implement Tox protocol.

It's still work in progress, so some parts that haven't been rewritten
yet are hard to read.

anyone I chat with or talk to on tox can see my ip? I dont want nobody to see 
my ip, not even the persons I add as tox-friends.

Antox is probably the most likely to work, you can get it at
pkg.tox.chat/fdroid or from the google plus beta

Be aware that tox for androids is still in beta and will use a *lot*
of bandwidth and battery from your phone, so you will run out of data
if you use it via mobile connection only

I do not believe tox clients for android have video calling enabled yet.

Tox does not protect your ip from your friends, you will need to look
into another solution like tunneling tox over tor.
