What is the license status on the Tox logo? [1]

As we know, the currently used logo was removed from Wikimedia Commons 
1,5 years ago for copyright concerns. [2] Could someone provide proof 
of authorship please? The re-uploaded image is currently nominated for 
speedy deletion for the same reason at Wikimedia Commons. [3]
